A HydraFacial is an extremely popular medical-grade facial that provides four treatments in one session and takes as little as 20 minutes. The HydraFacial’s four treatments are cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and deep hydration using serums customized to enhance your skin quality.

What are the benefits of a HydraFacial?

For such a quick treatment, a HydraFacial packs a serious punch. The benefits of a HydraFacial range from clearer, brighter skin to a more hydrated, plump, and youthful appearance. Since a HydraFacial delivers cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration all in one treatment, the benefits include:

  • Deeply cleansed skin
  • Pores appear smaller
  • A brighter, more even complexion
  • Reduction in acne
  • Smoothed fine lines and wrinkles
  • Boosted collagen production
  • Zero irritation and redness, an excellent choice for sensitive skin
  • A natural, fresh glow

How does a HydraFacial work?

A HydraFacial uses hydradermabrasion to exfoliate skin but without the use of particles that can cause redness, irritation, and sensitivity. Dr. Merriman’s highly trained skincare specialists will administer the four phases of your HydraFacial as follows:

HydraFacial cleansing

During this phase, our skincare specialist will gently cleanse your skin of any dirt or excess oil with the specialized tip that sweeps away debris and dead skin cells. This phase of treatment is gentle and effective.

HydraFacial exfoliation

During the exfoliation phase, our skincare specialist will use a blend of glycolic and salicylic acids to gently break up stubborn dirt, debris, and oil that might be clogging your pores without harming or irritating your skin.

HydraFacial extraction

During the extraction phase of your HydraFacial, your skincare specialist will use a “vortex-fusion” vacuum-like device to suction out any dirt and debris clogging your pores instead of traditional extraction methods that can lead to red, irritated skin.

HydraFacial hydration

During the final phase of your HydraFacial treatment, our specialist will continue to use the vortex-fusion tool to infuse your freshly cleansed, exfoliated, and extracted skin with a customized serum.

Our Plan for Resuming In-Office Patient Care

We are pleased to annouce our very soft re-opening to patients this Monday, May 4th. We are not opening to full capacity as we are closely following the recommendations of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and our numerous professional affiliations and governing boards. We will be seeing a very limited number of patients per day. The following outlines our plan and what we are doing to keep you safe.

You will be called the day before your appointment and screened for any symptoms. Any symptoms will require rescheduling.

Upon your arrival your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to rescheduled if over 100.0.

You must wear a mask upon entering the building and will only remove if getting a procedure done on the face. We ask that you please bring a mask to your appointment. Due to limited availability we will provide a mask to you for a charge of $5.

No one can accompany you into the office unless there are significant mobility or communication issues you need help with and in that case only one person can come with you. You may not bring children to your appointment.

Our waiting room is closed. You may enter the building to check in and gather any paperwork you may require and return to your car. You will be called when your room is ready.

Office Safety and Sanitation

Employees will also complete a daily questionnaire and have their temperature taken and will be sent home if there are any symptoms. Employees will wear personal protective equipment throughout your entire visit.

Each room and all areas that patients and employees touch including office supplies or equipment will be sanitized thoroughly between patients according to CDC guidelines.

We have missed you and look forward to seeing you back in the office!
